Wolfdancer Golf Club

Part of the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines and Spa, Wolfdancer Golf Club is an award-winning golf course. Named in tribute to the heritage of the Tonkawa tribe of Central Texas, it hosts 18 holes in the Texas wilderness with rolling hills, wooded ridgeline and river valley terrain.

This golf course is designed by world-renowned golf course architect, Arthur Hills and is currently ranked as one of the top courses in the state of Texas. In fact, it was named one of the “Best Resort Courses” by Golfweek in 2015. It also offers a full-scale practice facility, equipped with a 13-acre driving range with target greens, a short game area, two chipping greens and bunkers, and a practice putting green.

ColoVista Golf Club

Set in the beautiful Texas Hill Country overlooking the Colorado River, ColoVista Golf Club is a golf course community that blends its courses with a natural landscape. ColoVista also uses rugged topography to create exciting, but not overly challenging golf play for all skill levels. It was designed by Les Appelt who envisioned a course that has become recognized throughout Texas.

It is also possible to stay in the Cottages at ColoVista, a host of 3-bedroom cabins in line with the front nine of their golf course. There’s also the Mansion at Colo Vista, a Grand Southern Country Club Style mansion overlooking the Colorado River. The Mansion was most recently used in a Nissan national TV spot as a home for Heisman Trophy Winners and is available for weddings and other big events.

Pine Forest Golf Club

Perhaps the best golf value in Texas, Pine Forest Golf Club was voted one of Texas’ ‘Top 25 Best Municipal Courses” by The Dallas Morning News and named among the “Best Places To Play” by Golf Digest magazine. Its 18 holes were carved out of the rolling hills of the Lost Pines Forest in 1979 by a group led by PGA Professionals Billy Martindale and Don January, winner of the 1967 PGA Championship.

Designed to be challenging and enjoyable, this course offers a rare blend of dramatic elevation changes, water hazards, sand bunkers and rolling fairways to create a challenging, yet relaxing, experience. It is open 7 days a week and offers three membership levels.
